    LSU Shreveport will host the second annual Conference for Young Adult Literature Louisiana

    LSU Shreveport is hosting the second annual Conference for Young Adult Literature Louisiana (CYALL) next month. The conference, made possible by a grant from the Noel Foundation, will take place in the LSUS UC Theater Friday, November 8, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will also be a keynote lecture and tour of the current Noel Collection exhibit at 4:15 p.m at the Noel Memorial Library.

    LSUS Announces Pell Grant Exemption for Tuition

    LSUS has announced a new initiative to assist Pell Grant eligible students in covering the cost of their college education. The Pell Grant Exemption will cover any remaining tuition balance after all Pell Grant, Institutional Aid, and state (TOPS) money is applied to a student’s account.

  • LSUS Foundation acquires Spring Street Museum

    The LSUS Foundation is taking over operation of the Spring Street Historical Museum on behalf of LSU Shreveport.The Spring Street Museum will complement other LSUS resources that support arts and culture. This includes the LSUS Northwest Louisiana Archives; the Noel Collection, the largest private collection of antiquarian books in the United States; the Pioneer Heritage Center; and LSUS Red River Radio.
